The Journal of City and Civilization begins  its new journey.

The Journal of City and Civilization  is a peer-reviewed journal aiming at focusing on the city by bringing historical depth, current trends and future perspectives together to understand its multi-stratified and multi-dimensional aspects.  This scientific journal publishes biannually in June and December.

 

The journal gives importance to the researches that tries to analyze the city from the perspectives of architecture, city planning, local governments, urban history, urban sociology, local politics, spirituality, anthropology, art history, archeology, cultural studies and geography. The journal aims to publish original theoretical and applied researches in this regard, and also welcomes all researches from social sciences and humanities disciplines.

As in every period of history, the fate of the city, which is the most basic dynamic of civilization construction, is seen as a tool that determines the fate of humanity. In this regard, The Journal of City and Civilization  believes that the most meaningful way to understand today’s value layers is to build the future by understanding the city we live in.
